2nd day. Sightseeing in Washington DC.

We all had to woke up at 7.30, because we had to go and have breakfast before going to visit the capital of the US. We had met the rest of the Spanish people, who came from Madrid, and all the Russian people that night.
We were divided into 2 groups and got into two different buses to go visit the city. The plan was to walk all the National Mall, but we were lucky and we finally went by bus. We only took off the bus to take pictures of the different monuments we visited. We went to the Washington Monument, the Jefferson Memorial, the Roosevelt Memorial Park, the Martin Luther King Monument, the Lincoln Memorial, the Vietnam Veterans Memorial and, finally, to The White House. It was amazing!!
After all that, we went to a food court and bought something to eat for lunch, and brought it to the bus, because we were going to Virginia Beach, which was a five-hours trip. That was really boring.
But then we finally got there, and the best thing was that the families were all waiting for us there, with posters and ballons and flags and everything. It was really great!! They were waiting for us, and they were amazing.
My family was waiting for me, but not the one I expected. I had been changed of family, because one of the children had broken his leg and had to go to therapy, so the family couldn't be hosting me and I had to change. But I live with a girl only 3 years older than me (she's 18) and her two children, Annalyse, who's two years old, and Cabryn, who's one. They are so cute!! I love being with them.
