17th day. MacArthur mall.

I don't hate bad weather. I just don't like it in a place where it isn't supposed to be. It's supposed to be really hot here in Virginia Beach, it's not supposed to rain like it's been raining today. 

We went to MacArthur mall this morning. It's in Norfolk, which made it easier for the host family to come pick up the girls who had been staying with us for a while. 

We went shopping for three hours before having lunch (sushi again). We could finally go to Abercrombie & Fitch, but it was so expensive!! OMG, I can't believe how expensive was it! But I love the store, so I hadto buy something there. 

At three o'clock, the host family was supposed to pick up the girls, so we waited for the host mother to come in the parking lot. We took lots of photos during the time we waited. Lots of them. They are going to be great memories, just like the Russian coin (1 ruble my Russian housemate gave me). 

After they were picked up it started to rain. A lot. We went to the supermarket to buy food we needed. We were finally able to find real bread, a baguette, not this soft things they call bread here. When we got home, we (the two Spanish girls) made "pan con tomate", bread with tomato and olive oil. Both our host mom and the Russian girl had never tried that before, and they loved it. I mean, how can't someone love it!! 

We watched Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 1, because it was on TV. We've been watching lots of movies lately, and I love it. 

We had to go at 7 to our neighbour's house. We had been invited for dinner. Our neighbour, the professional French chef, is gay. He lives with his partner, and he's a great cook. 

I have never tasted such a delicious dinner!! Everything was amazing!! We spent four hours at their house, talking until almost midnight!! The meal had 6 courses, and that was too much for us. We took the dessert home, because it was so delicious that we wanted to eat it even if we couldn't eat more. OS now I have it in the fridge to eat it whenever I want. It's delicious!! 

The courses were: a salad, a tomato and onion brochetta, a strawberry and pineapple salad, codfish with shrimps, a chocolate mousse/cake and a capuccino. Everything was so good!! My parents would have loved it!! 

When we got home, we were falling asleep, for real. My eyes were closing. So in the minute I turned the light off, I fell deeply asleep.
