13th day. Minigolf.

After waking up at 6.30, which I have started to hate a lot, we all had breakfast and then run to take the bus. Every morning the same. We have to leave the house at 7.20 to get to the bus stop on time, but we always leave the house late, so we are always the last ones to arrive. But the bus driver, Leo, already knows us and waits, so we have never lost the bus. Yet. 

The minigolf was nothing special. It was really short, and it was based on a jungle. There were plastic animals like gorillas, giraffes, zebras... And a river in the middle. The water in the river was blue, really blue, and I still don't know why! it was strange. 

After the minigolf, which we finished at ten, more or less, we had free time until the classes started. 

We are taking the classes in this hotel in the boardwalk, between the 6th and 7th street. The minigolf was in the 22nd, so we had to walk back to the hotel. It was incredibly hot that morning. We all ended up sweated and really, really, hot. Boiling!! 

I went with a friend and we got inside ALL the stores in the street, from the 22nd to the 5th, because we wanted to buy an American flag. A real American flag, not a towel. I can't believe they don't sell this flags in any of the souvenirs shops there are in the boardwalk. There was only this strange shop which sells everything for Christmas, from trees to lights and fake Santa Claus; who had American flags, but they were $20!! Couldn't believe it!! Everyone in this country has a flag. There's one in every single door in every house,  but they don't sell them!! I don't understand, I guess I'll have to ask my host mother where to find it. 

So after that we had lunch at the beach, and we swam for a while, because it was very hot. 

In the afternoon, my group had class. We had to do this poster about our trip here and about everything we've seen with a partner. I did it with a friend, and we tried to make it as good as possible. Then we had to explain to the rest of the class everything about it. It was a nice time, not boring at all.

When we got home, we had dinner early, at seven, because we were going to the movies afterwards, and we didn't want to have dinner that late, at 9.15. It was Tuesday, so the cinema was only $1.5!! So cheap!! We went to see Snow White and the Huntsman, and it was good, just not as good as I expected it. 

When we got home it was already midnight, so we went straight to bed to have some sleep, which is what I should be doing right now, because it's a quarter to one in the morning!!
